The 4 Pillars of Training Boys for Manhood
FatherMission uses four pillars that give fathers a clear and repeatable framework for weekly formation at home. Each pillar should be taught, practiced, and reviewed through ordinary family life.
1. Discipline
Teach boys to govern desires, obey quickly, and finish what they start. Discipline creates the structure that makes growth sustainable.
2. Courage
Train sons to do what is right under fear, pressure, or social opposition. Courage is faith in action when comfort is unavailable.
3. Responsibility
Assign meaningful duties and require ownership for outcomes. Responsibility teaches boys to carry weight without excuse-making.
4. Leadership
Model initiative, servant strength, and protective love for others. Leadership means moving first in service, not demanding status.
