Cornerstone Guide
What Is Biblical Masculinity?
Biblical masculinity is not domination, passivity, or personality type. It is covenantal responsibility under God. A father leads with humility, protects what is vulnerable, provides through diligence, and submits his strength to Christ.
What It Is Not
It is not harshness, ego, or emotional distance. Scripture calls men to sacrificial leadership. Strength is measured by obedience, self-control, and willingness to serve.
What It Looks Like at Home
- Clear standards with consistent follow-through
- Steady correction without rage or sarcasm
- Visible repentance when you sin against your family
- Daily scripture and prayer rhythms with your son
Biblical Anchors
Ephesians 6:4 commands fathers to bring children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 16:13 calls men to watchfulness, courage, and strength. These commands require intentional patterns, not vague intentions.
